I was hired in 2011 by Sikorsky, joining IAM Local 2916 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Four years later, I was elected Shop Steward, and in 2019, Chief Steward while steadfastly representing and advocating for our membership. I have also had the privilege of serving as a District Delegate, working to ensure our members’ voices are heard and their needs prioritized. I currently serve as Vice President of the Coastal Bend Labor Council and was Vice President of Region 5 for the Texas State Council of Machinists. These leadership roles have deepened my understanding of the labor movement and expanded the network and resources I can now bring to our District.
