Eric Meriwether, Business Representative
Before becoming a District 776 Business Representative, I have proudly been a member of the IAM for 18 years, beginning at Boeing-St. Louis in IAM District 837, where I worked as an Assembly Mechanic and served the membership as a shop steward. In July 2017, I transferred membership to District 776 when accepting a position at Lockheed Martin – Fort Worth as a Structures Mechanic. Since becoming a District 776 member, I have served my Local 776-A in a variety of roles, including Chairman of an Investigation Committee, Plant Grievance Committee Alternate, and Vice-Chairman of Steward meetings as well as elected as a Department Steward in one of the largest departments at Lockheed Martin.
