I am a native of Fort Worth, starting as a Maintenance Mechanic in 1987, then was hired by Lockheed Martin-Fort Worth in 2003. I came from a working family, so signing up for the Union was easy for me. Before becoming a Business Representative for District 776, I served members of the IAM as Vice President and then as President of the Texas State Council of Machinists, and I served as a Vice President of the Texas AFL-CIO. I am also proud to serve as the District 776 Legislative Director, coordinating with the IAM legislative department to lobby on Capitol Hill for military contracts to keep building Fighter Jets, Missiles, Ships, and Submarines.
