It is with Great sadness that we report long time Executive Administrative Secretary to a long line of District 776 Presidents, Melba Smith, has passed away this past Saturday.  Please pray for Melba’s family.

The District office will be closed on Friday, October 25^th, 2019 so all have the opportunity to attend the service for Melba.

IAM District Lodge 776 – Lockheed Fort Worth 4/10 work schedule vote Information:

A Vote on the 4/10 work schedule will be conducted and administered by District Lodge 776 on October 16th, 2019.

Tellers for the vote will be appointed by each Local Lodge President. (776-A, 776-B, 776-C)

The vote will be held on company time and on company premises to maximize member participation. Voting will be open for your entire shift.

Voting locations are being determined at this time. As soon as the locations are established you will be notified.

4/10 (A) work schedule will be Monday thru Thursday only.

4/10 (B) work schedule will be Tuesday thru Friday only.

No 3/12 component.

With the 4/10 schedule there will be 2 shifts only. (1st & 2nd) except for a small 3rd shift on the flight line, facilities, and a small support population.

The initial start and end times for each shift will be printed on the ballot.

If voted down, the factory will return to a 5/40 work schedule on December 30th, 2019.

If voted in, the 4/10 work schedule will begin January 13th, 2020.

You will need at least an August dues stamp to vote so
In order to expedite the voting process PLEASE GET YOUR DUES BOOK STAMPED.
